iClinical is a web based multimodal learning resource developed in-house by RGUC. We are developing two e-learning series, one looking at human anatomy, the other giving an insight into performing patient examinations in a clinical environment. You can find out more information below.

Our Students - Our own undergraduate students have taken the opportunity to be involved with the development and evolution of these videos, which has helped focus us towards your real learning needs.

Assessment Questions - As part of each series, we have also developed a number of interactive questions to help you consolidate your knowledge. These will make use of extra clinical information and data interpretation exercises

Welcome to the Innovative Anatomy Series

The Innovative Anatomy series consists of clearly illustrated and narrated videos, which guide the viewer through important and common clinical anatomy topics. The use of intra-operative footage, 3D animation and radiological images creates both a realistic and engaging experience.

The first video in the series takes a look at the Inguinal Canal.

An understanding of the inguinal canal is important for anyone involved with the diagnosis or management of inguinal hernias whether in a community or a hospital setting. This complex yet important region is simplified and clearly illustrated in this video.
