Congratulations to Dr Katherine Speirs and Dr Christopher Timmis, Clinical Teaching Fellows at RGUC, who entered and won the University of Birmingham Deans Prize for Undergraduate Medical Education Research. Their work entitled “The advocacy-enquiry debriefing method in simulation education: exploring student perspectives” was also presented as a poster at the 2014 Association of the Study of Medical Education Conference in Brighton. This interesting work is particularly topical as we see simulation grow as a teaching tool in undergraduate medical education. We look forward to the official opening of the RGUC Simulation Centre.

Their poster is available to view in the RGUC.
