Experiences of a FY1 doctor at The Dudley Group

Future foundation year one and two doctors can gain an insight into life at The Dudley Group from Aadil’s experiences, covered in this video by the RGUC media team.

Aadil attended Russells Hall as a medical student during his undergraduate training and was keen to return as part of his foundation year placement. He spent time working in the maternity department, which not many foundation doctors have the opportunity to experience. He also worked in the haematology oncology wards, improving his skillset in triage in addition to elective on-call and surgical procedures.

Aadil also immersed himself into undergraduate and postgraduate teaching opportunities and took the opportunity to contribute to our established reputation as a teaching hospital.
